I've been busy, so haven't had time to play many board games lately. Hopefully that will be fixed in the future.
However, I did finally get around to playing Starcraft: The Board Game (by Fantasy Flight Games). This is more of a review than a sciencey post, since I haven't had time to really study the game.
I liked it. Like War on Terror, though, I think this game will benefit a great deal from some house rules. The game has too much down time. It does have a good amount of action, and is a lot easier to play than, for example, Twilight Imperium. But, I don't see the purpose in several elements of the game, and I dislike the battle system. Between these faults, I still prefer Twilight — it just feels more fun.
One thing I loved about the game though was the pseudo-Game of Thrones order system: each order token is placed down on a territory, but you can block other player's orders from executing in the order they intend, if you are careful. Naturally, they can do this to you as well. This provides for a lot of stressful scenarios and a bit more planning that some parts of Twilight.
Also, I like the fact that it is two-player, although I stand probably zero-chance of getting my wife to play with me. I have the same problem with War of the Ring.
Also, one reader noticed some possible errors in one of my previous Power Grid posts, so I will be looking into that soon.

It‘s quite in here! Why not leave a response?
